Type workshop progress

This was the poster that I created for the final piece for the type workshop

Type Workshop

Photoshop images of the tracings I had previously done

Type Workshop

For the type workshop I have been looking at the descender line of the letter "g" in different types. I traced some that I found that where interesting, comparing it with as many as possible. This was the first step of taking this project further, I plan on creating a poster that shows the difference in the "g" descender line and how different type can really be.

Collage process

To keep count on how many collages I had I arranged them by subject so I knew how many I had left for each subject.

You can not really see , but all of the images spread out so that I could see all of them, this was very helpful because I could see the images better and helped me arrange them in my collages.
This is the mess that I created in my house while doing collages, even though I had already most of the images already cut there was still a lot of magazines I would look at while doing the collages, and I would have a lot of papers everywhere.

Collage process

Folding them and carefully cutting them by hand.
Tracing the A6 on the papers
For the collages I decided I did not want a white paper for the collages.I decided to use a thicker paper and is not as white. I cut all of the A6 papers by hand because I thought that the ripped corners gave it a nice touch to the paper.
